Thanksgiving in Wyoming

We had a great Turkey Day in Wyoming with Clint and family, Micah and family and Taylor were all there. The weather was very cold and windy but no snow for the traveling. It is always so great to all be together! And how we miss the kids being close to us.

Meeting my Birth Mother!

Well after 46 years I finally was able to meet my Birth Mother. Kim and I flew to Sacrament CA, meet Jo Kolp and her husband Ken. We toured Sacramento and even went to the home that my family lived in, in Fair Oaks. Jo and I have been talking for almost 2 years so we know each other already but was so good to finally meet. Ken and Kim were able to enjoy a Train and Air Space Museum while Jo and I visited. What a beautiful expericence for all of us! The weekend could not have been any better.

Caribbean Cruise

Well we did it again! I called Kim Wednesday Oct. 15th and askes if he wanted to go to the Caribbean on Saturday for 13 days. He said "Why not!" So 2 days later we were in New York and the next day boarding a Norweign Cruise Ship on our way to the Caribbean! How moving it was to go through the Harbor and see the Statue of Liberty and hearing Lee Greenwwod singing," I'm proud to be an American"! The first night the sea's were really rockin' and rollin'! Kim slept like a baby but not me! But we got caught up the next couple of days. We went to the ports of Dominican Republic, US Virgin Islands, Aruba, Belize, Honduras, Cozmel Mexico and the cruise ended in New Orleans. We saw some the the most beautiful places and beaches, also some of the poorest places. It certainly made us thankful for what we have. The 3rd night on the ship we were seated with a couple from Canada. Then spent the rest of the cruise eating, visiting, playing and exploring with them. It made to trip that much more enjoyable (they are pictured with us on the stairs). I think that this was one of our favorite trips we have taken. WE came back rested and tanned!

Zion Park Wedding

For those of you that knew I did a wedding in Zion Park a few weeks ago. The bride was from N.Carolina and she flew her family here for her wedding. I was very nervous about having everything the way she wanted, for she was VERY picky, but all went well. Here a couple of pic's of the tables in the back of the Bed & Breakfast were the reception was held. It looked beautiful and I hope to do another in Zion Park.

A Great time in Alaska!

WOW! You all need to take the same trip that we just went on! So relaxing and it just beautiful. Kim and I cruised out of Seattle Washington and went to Juneau, Sitka, Ketichan,Glacier National Park and Victoria B.C. We loved all the places but thought that Victoria was a heaven on earth. So beautiful and quaint. We are hoping to go back next fall. Here are just a few pictures!

More Pictures

Here are a few more pictures of the other kids.!
Sandy, the dog, came to live with us this January and she has been such a joy! She loves the human boy and all the Grandkids. As you can see she loves the snow and the mudd!

The other kid, Brady the human, came back home in April. I love having him home but of course we never see him. Brady just turned 21 and is doing so well. Working a local ACE Hardware store, selling guns. And is on the Volunteer Fire Dept. No fires yet but he is always ready to go.

Hello Everyone!

Well this is our first post! After looking at the kids doing this I thought it would be a fun way to share what's going on with our family. And since Kim and I do travel alot, it will be a fun way to share while we are on the road.

The picture of Kim and I is from last years Christmas card. The others are from a hike that we just did with Kelli, Cole, Lainee and Toree while they are visting this week from Wyoming. We had a great time!
