Well another trip under our belts! This time we were in Florida for 11 days.Kim has always wanted to see a Space Shuttle Launch and since there are only a few more left now was the time.We also went to Disney Epcot and spent time at several beaches along the coast.I of course had to make things fun with a trip to the ER room after a rash came on.The trip was great for wildlife with alligators and lots of birds!I think the holidays will be quite here and we will stay close to home.

Last week I was able to take some pictures of your neighbors, The Smith Family. They were so cute and we just love our newest Grandkids!

I have been spending sometime in Dolan Springs AZ with Kim, as he has been working some overtime. So of course out comes the camera. We also spent an afternoon in a old mining town called Oatman. Lots of fun shops and Donkeys roaming the streets and walking into the shops.

It has been awhile since I have posted and my Canadian friends keep reminding me I am behind.

Lots of fun and travel this Spring and Summer. July had us in Yellowstone National Park with Stephen and Family. We went camping for 4 nights saw lots of wildlife and birds, Yea! Kim and I went camping several times to places that were close to home. Our big trip was to Tahiti in September. Wow what a great time! We stayed in Tahiti for a couple of days and then took a cruise on a sailing ship for 10 days. 7 ports of call allowed us to see the Society Islands and all it's beauty. The seas were very ruff so it was a challenge to keep upright and not sick! We met many people from all over the world and spent most evenings in pleasant conversation. The sea held lots of fun for us as we snorkeled as often as we could and even walked on the bottom of the ocean with special helmets, that was a kick! In October we went to Wyoming to visit the kids and had a wonderful visit. I guess that we could stay home a little more, but why?

Marty & June

Well June came for another visit and brought Marty along this time! They spent a few days at our home where we visited Zion Park, St. George and hung at the house. Then we joined them in Las Vegas, spent a night and went out to dinner. I love when they visit and we will be planning a trip to their home soon!

New Job!

Well I have started another job! This is a Director of a new art gallery in St. George. Main Street Art Gallery & Studio's is my new place to hang my hat. I am running all aspects of a Gallery along with organizing and planning lots of events and fundraisers. The gallery is non-profit and we have a lot of fun things planned and will be involved in the Community. Yoga is offered at the Gallery so I am looking forward to getting back in shape and don't have to go very far. If you are in town please come by and see me!

Denver

In April I went to visit Carleen and to watch the last episode of ER with her. We have watched the program together on the phone for the last several years so I thought it would be great to see it together. We spent some time walking, shopping and watching movies at the Elvis! Sam was home recovering from a knee replacement so we were able to visit also. I also finally met Dudley the cat. It was nice to have a kitty sleep with me so I wasn't so home sick for my kitty.

A Great Trip To Hawaii!

What a great time we had the beginning of March.. I found yet another great deal and surprised
Kim with a trip to the Big Island of Hawaii! I didn't tell him until we were in the Los Angeles airport the we were going there instead of San Francisco. Our hotel was wonderful along with all the activities that we did. We visited the Volcano National Park, beautiful mountain country, sea cliffs, beaches and the resort was incredible! But by far the favorite was night scuba diving with Manta Rays! What an experience of a life time. Not only do we love going to these great places but being together is the best thing!

June came to visit!

My new friend June, that we meet on our Caribbean Cruise in October, came to visit in January! What fun we had. We hit Zion Park, St. George, Kim scared her on a 4 wheel drive in the hills and Las Vegas. June and I walked from Treasure Island to the New York New York Hotel then saw Phantom of the Opera. This was her first time seeing the production and we both loved it. I was sad to see her leave, but she and husband Marty will be back in April.

Christmas

Christmas at our house was one to remember! It was a quite one until we got a big storm and the wind blow smoke into the house. With the smoke alarms going off, Brady took the burning log out into the snow, I opened the windows in my bedroom, then wind blew the Christmas tree down in my room, which broke glass ornaments and then the vacuum wouldn't work to clean it up. But before that it was pretty good. The weeks before we got a lot of snow here and we all enjoyed it, especially Sandy. Clint and family came a few days after Christmas and we have enjoyed seeing them. We hope that you have a great New Year and you are all safe, healthy and happy.
